Elena is a passionate artist with a profound desire to share meaningful narratives of all people— to capture the essence of the human experience and shed light on the diverse stories of those from all walks of life.

Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Elena grew up surrounded by a love and appreciation of the arts; from singing along to the radio in her carseat, to watching her mother perform in her very own cabaret show, or simply dancing around with her Tía, the foundation for her creative spirit was inextricably tied to every part of her life. Initially finding her voice within the sphere of choral and a cappella singing, she then began to perform in musicals locally and fell in love with the art form, its power to inspire, and the community it fosters.

Elena is a recent graduate of Northwestern University where she pursued studies in Acting, Musical Theatre, and Political Science too! While at Northwestern, Elena was lucky enough to work on an array of theatrical and artistic projects from fully realized productions of new student work to large scale musicals including her recent performance and participation in the development of a localized version of Working, a musical by Nina Faso and Stephen Schwartz under the direction of Erin Ortman. She also was the General Manager of her a cappella group ‘Purple Haze’ that put on killer shows each quarter, competed in the ICCA competition, and travelled together internationally.

Elena recently moved to New York City and is pursuing her artistic passions there and loving every minute!
